MyConnecticutKids.com was started for one reason. I needed to find an online resource that I could rely on to help me find fun things to do in and around Connecticut with my son and husband.  The idea came to me as I was doing my standard Friday night Google Search or what to do this weekend. I was sorting through countless links that did not deliver me to the content I was looking for, when it occurred to me, countless parents are doing the exact same thing right now.  So then and there I decided to take on the project of connecting Connecticut's families with the organizations and businesses that are there to serve them. We launched the site in July of 2008 and have been growing since,  Adding more and more places to go, and things to do every day. I am committed to providing families with a always on easy to navigate resource, advertisers an affordable way to reach out to parents, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.
