Quassy Amusement Park

Quassy, founded as an amusement park in 1908, sits on the south shore of Lake Quassapaug in Middlebury, Connecticut. On its 20 plus acres, it boasts of rides including the award  winning “Wooden Warrior” roller coaster, which  is rated among the top 50 coasters in the world. Also featuring  “Crazy Cups”, “Yo-Yo” Super Swing, “The Big Flush Water Coaster,” a four-abreast “Grand Carousel,” and  a variety of thrill rides as well as attractions for the very young.  UP, UP & AWAY is a new children’s ride being added at the lakefront for 2017. Adults may ride with their children.

The Quassy Quest Laser Maze is one of the newest attractions in Quassy Amusement & Waterpark’s huge arcade building. Guests must beat the clock in this exciting and fun pay-as-you-go attraction. A new Beam Buster program is being added to the attraction for the 2017 season.

Visit “Splash Away Bay” the  interactive water play area – home of the gigantic “Tunnel Twister”, “Fish Pond” and water-slides, including “Slide City” a 5 slide complex for our youngest visitors!

Cool off in Lake Quassapaug at Quassy Beach and cap off the day with a frozen treat from Quassy’s Ice Cream Parlor or a sweet treat from the brand new Bella & Bessie’s Sweet Shoppe & Pizzeria, with fresh made taffy, and also favorites such as cotton candy, popcorn in a variety of flavors, candy apples, chocolate and hard candy. In addition, the shop will offer nachos and giant pretzels.  Beverages will include soda, fresh-squeezed lemonade, slush and other bottled soft drinks.The north end of the structure will be home to the pizzeria, where homemade pizza with a variety of toppings will be offered by the slice or whole pie. Beer and wine will be sold on the pizzeria side of the building as well.

Quassy has a picnic grove where you can cook your own food, an exciting large electronic redemption arcade, food stands and restaurant. Quassy also has two catering pavilions where we can host company outings and family reunions of 100 to 2,000 people, plus patio parties and birthday parties of 10 to 100 people. Quassy offers the entire family safe, affordable fun. Obviously, Quassy is the place for you.

FIREWORKS – Quassy Amusement & Waterpark will host a special “3-D” fireworks display on July 4 to benefit Healthy Eyes Alliance. Special viewing glasses are sold at the Middlebury, Conn., park to view the fireworks display over Lake Quassapaug.
