Our center is located at our 285-acre Main Sanctuary and features the Kimberlin Nature Education Center—our main building that is the hub for our nature programs, educational exhibits, staff offices, and The Nature Store & Gift Shop. The facility is also available for rental for special occasions. The surrounding landscape serves as an outdoor classroom with 7 miles of hiking trails, hardwood forests, lake, vernal pool, and more. Our weekly-themed camp programs provide a unique place for your child to explore the outdoors during their summer break. Campers build a deeper connection to the natural world through fun, experiential activities while exploring our 285-acre Main Sanctuary, which includes a beautiful teaching pond, the Byram River, Mead Lake, forests, and meadows.
Grades 6 – 9Â Audubon Ecology Adventures:Â This exciting Audubon camp for teens combines exploration of the great outdoors with learning about the amazing biodiversity that is found in our local natural areas. Daily field trips to forests, rivers, and coastal areas will be led by experienced naturalists and will give campers an opportunity to learn about ecology and conservation while exploring and having fun.
New Specialty Camps for Grades 6-11: Our Specialty Camps offer exciting opportunities for middle and high schoolers to engage with the natural world through mediums they identify with such as art, photography, digital animation, and real-world, hands-on learning. These new offerings challenge campers to create and craft using tools and skills ranging from cutting-edge digital to wilderness survival.

Early Childhood Programs
Audubon Greenwich welcomes little ones and their grown-ups to discover, explore, and investigate nature. Our Nature Sprouts program features a different theme each week. Activities include animal experiences, dramatic play, stories, and more! Following each session, adults gather for an Audubon Naturalist-led discussion of conservation actions they can take as a family.
Little Saplings: Learning Together
Come along and explore side by side as we use nature to learn through play. Ages 3.5 to 5 years. Wednesdays from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Lunch available 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.Guided school and youth group field trips at Audubon Greenwich emphasize student participation, first-hand experiences in the field, and inquiry-based learning methods. School group programs are coordinated with local curriculum objectives and the National Science Education Standards. We offer short programs and extended day programs, which can include an after-lunch workshop.
School and youth group programs are offered throughout the year and are a great way to for students of all ages to explore and learn naturally through hands-on activities and the exploration of the plants and animals of the pond, forest, and field habitats along our outdoor trails.
Scout Programs
Audubon Greenwich offers a wide variety programs for Daisy Scouts, Brownies, Junior Girl Scouts, Webelos, Tiger, Wolf, and Bear Cub Scouts. All our programs get out on the trails, teach about our local environment, and include hands-on activities designed to meet all or most of the requirements for earning scout pins and badges.Trails
Open daily from sunrise to sunset
Come enjoy peace and nature on our trails. Audubon Greenwich manages seven nature sanctuaries all of which are open to the public. Visitors are welcome to visit 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. To help us preserve these natural places, we ask that visitors please observe our rules below.There is an admission fee for the trails and center at our Main Sanctuary: $6 adults, $3 youth/seniors, FREE for National Audubon Society members.
