Danbury Railway Museum is conveniently located in the historic station and rail yard in downtown Danbury, near Patriot Garage and the dining district. We offer railroad history told by our exhibits, artifacts, and displays, tours of our 6 acre railyard, train rides in our yard on weekends, and numerous operating model layouts of many sizes. There is a play area for the younger train fan, and many of our “real” trains are open to visitors. We offer three children’s events: Easter Bunny, Pumpkin Patch, and Santa, and other special events held throughout the year. The Museum is open year around, with trains operating April – December. Fun for train fans of all ages!
