Where does our food come from? At our Freeman Farm, visitors learn how important the harvest was to early New England farmers – and how much work was involved in preserving food to last through the winter. Visitors can meet heritage breed cattle, oxen, sheep, chickens, and pigs, and see the seasonal rhythms of work on a 19th-century farm. Meet the Animals
Several times a year, Old Sturbridge Village provides opportunities for kids to get a more in-depth Village experience with two-day, three-day, and five-day programs.
