The Stratford Library Association serves a diverse population of approximately 50,000. It serves as the hub of its community, providing information, materials to borrow, internet access, and programs for children, teens, and adults. The Library works closely with other community agencies to provide literacy and enrichment outreach to all citizens.

- Storytimes, music, and crafts for babies, toddlers, preschoolers
- Technology classes including Microsoft Word and typing
- Monthly crafts and other activity programs for school age children
- Knitting classes
- Summer Reading program for children birth to age 12 (begins June 1 each year)
- Monthly special programs. Past events include: Water Carnivals, Stuffed Animal Sleepovers, Mini Golf at the Library and much, much, more!
- Teen Summer Reading program and other special events for teens including the Anime Club and the Youth Review Board
