The New England Carousel Museum

The New England Carousel Museum is a magical home to a large collection of magnificent carousel pieces.  Visitors of all ages learn about the history, craftsmanship, and art of wooden carousel horses as they explore the Museum.  Visit with our museum guides or tour on your own.  Our tour guides are eager to greet you and your family and provide a participatory tour full of learning and discovery.  You might even catch our Master Painter at work in the Restoration studio!  Every visit includes a ride on our working carousel as you listen and watch our band organ play.  Also included is a tour of our Museum of Fire History, a hidden gem of fire fighting apparatus and memorabilia.

Educational Family Sunday programs are held each month with themes that blend fun with learning. The Museum is also perfect for children’s birthday parties, facility rentals, and field trips. Visit our website for more information.
