During the winter months, many animals hibernate, migrate, and adapt in order to prepare for the cold. We, too, spend more time indoors and sometimes move our bodies less because of the cold and darkness of the winter. Yoga can be a great way to inspire both children and adults to move their bodies. It can develop strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, as well as focus and calming. Best of all, it can be done at home, indoors!
