Why Dance Adventure / Dance Center of Greenwich?
Dance Adventure, Inc. was established in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1991 as a school for dance by founder and Director, Nola Van Alstine. Since then, Miss Nola and her professional staff have taught thousands of young dancers from Fairfield and Westchester counties.
The Dance Center of Greenwich, their older student division, focuses on dance technique and curriculum through pre-professional. Each student receives personalized attention while exploring the art form through musical and dramatic expression. Students at the Dance Center of Greenwich are encouraged to learn ‘technique’ at their own pace, while developing confidence and movement skills ‘every step of the way.

Balletstories.com
Nola Van Alstine, or Miss Nola, has dozens of original ballet stories for young ballet students. She has recently started a new website, www.BalletStories.com.
“I have written stories that help bring ballet technique to life for young dancers I am excited to have these stories online so that families around the world can enjoy them outside of the dance studio.”
Four stories, The Cloud Fairy, The Swan Princesses, The Four Corners, and Fairy-One-Step are now available on the site. Star performers in the videos are Dance Adventure students (ages 3-6 years), and Lydia Currie, a Stamford resident and college student who began her own ballet studies at Dance Adventure when she was just a toddler.
Ballerinas and their parents can go to www.BalletStories.com and sign up for a free membership.
