Westport Weston Family YMCA Gymnastics Center (Norwalk, CT)

The Westport Weston Family YMCA Gymnastics Center emphasizes individual skill development in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Our coaching staff wants your child to have a rewarding experience and encourages children of all ages and abilities to participate.

Opened in June 2014, the YMCA Gymnastics Center occupies a specially designed 6,500 sq. ft. space at 145 Main St. in Norwalk, between Holmes St. and Union Ave. It’s near US-1 and the Route 7 connector, midway between the Merritt Parkway and 95. (Situated next door to Pump It Up, the main entrance is in the back parking lot off Holmes St.)

The YMCA Gymnastics Center, with its award winning Gymnastics Program, offers classes and activities for all ages and abilities, from toddlers through high school, including the acclaimed YMCA Showtime Exhibition Team and competitive teams for Level 3-8.

With its high ceilings, new equipment in the uneven bar and balance beam areas and a Tumble Track, our new Gymnastics Center is now able to provide training for elite gymnasts.

To take part in the Y Gymnastics Center’s programs, participants must be members of the Westport Weston Family YMCA or, if a resident of Norwalk, the Norwalk YMCA.

Youth & Teen

From the daily Toddler Adventure Open Gym to Teen Tumbling to TNT Hot Shots, as well as our competitive gymnastics teams, our new YMCA Gymnastics Center in Norwalk offers children of all ages and abilities the chance to be active while having fun, meet new friends and develop their gymnastics skills.

YOUTH GYMNASTICS

Participants work on the mats, balance beam, parallel and uneven bars and vaults and are grouped according to ability.

GYMNASTICS PRIVATES

Fee: $80/hour

Summer Gymnastic Camp (ages 5 and up): Monday – Friday, 12 pm-4:15 pm; includes free swim.

Gymnastic Camp Full Day Option (ages 5 and up): Monday – Friday 8:45 am-4:15 pm;

Summer Fantasy Gymnastics and Art Program (ages 3-6): Monday – Thursday, 9 am-12 noon. Gymnastics, add some games and an art project each day!

Competitive Team Summer Practice Current or incoming members of the Competitive Team or Pre-Competition Team; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3:30-5:30

Toddler Adventure Open Gym (ages 6 months-4 years): Held daily during the school year and on Fridays, 9 am-11 am, during the summer.  Adventure Gym will switch to Fridays only from June 25-July 20.
